EDITORIAL COMMENT
The Journal of the Environment, Published by the Faculty of Environmental Studies, Abia State University, Uturu, provides an International forum for research and critical reviews in the broad fields of Environmental Planning and Environmental Management from a diversity of Perspectives. The central aim is to focus on the integrated planning and Management of Resources. It encompasses Applied Research, the application of new approaches and techniques, and evaluation of policy and practice. Both geographical and health issues are included and especially the interaction between them, Papers involving interdisciplinary research, cross national research and the evaluation of environmental Policy and Practices are especially welcome.
In every volume, we are pleased to know that, most of the articles are generally environmental oriented covering topics drawn from Urban and Regional Planning, Estate Management, Geography, and Environmental Resource Management. Articles from other related areas like Architecture, Building Technology, Fine and Applied Arts, Environmental Toxicology, Applied Environmental Assessment, Pollution Studies, Environmental Accounting and even Social Sciences. Each Volume promises to be even more interesting. We look forward o having your paper in the volumes.
